Heavens Know!

I’m holding my cell phone (Nokia 3120……. got it unexpectedly after loosing the last one! Papa has been real nice) which is quite an asset to me. And I had almost lost it yesterday when Heavens Know from where, this good chap from Liberty Showroom told us on phone that it was in the showroom intact in my bag (Pssst!.... I had left my bag there!) when I was engrossed in shopping nothing! Though, the shop had closed down by that time, but I was Really relieved that I hadn’t lost it in spite of doing all what one needs to do for loosing one! So, we all dined merrily in C.P. . I had gone with my family to C.P. yesterday evening, to visit the sacred Hanuman Temple & to shop. I had almost lost my patience when I had discovered my mobile missing…….. The last time when I had visited a temple (last week), it was my new pair of sandals that I had lost …….. and now I was about to loose my cellphone! Is it some kind of a jinx..(The last memory was as fresh as it was the present…… and it was practically being repeated!).

I was having a delicious dinner and all the events of the evening were racing through my mind.. the last one being-- entering into the restaurant with the relieving thought that my bag was safe in the shop which would open the next day! Quite an evening it was & Guess what…. There was more in store for me even when the clock had struck 23 hrs, which generally is the time to head for home leaving some occasions.

So, it was…. We reached the DND toll bridge.. the wind was fresh & full with moisture & I was loving it. Yamuna is well above its usual level & the breeze was crisp & damp as a result! And I simply loved it! The bridge was deserted & I could feel that I was lucky not to share the lovely zephyr with many!
We reached home…….and Alas! It was then that I found out that the house keys were in my bag which was left in that goddamn shop!!
